Values & Views

Seeing the (human) being first and foremost

While I do love to learn from others with different viewpoints for the mutually enriching element befitting both sides, I have found that if our core values don’t align, it’s very hard to be in the same room, much less work together.

So here’s a basic rundown of my core values & views, which I can’t compromise on, no matter what. If they align with you, then let’s chat by all means. And if they don’t, I’m sure you’ll find other artists on this planet.

Guided by the core value of respect towards all human beings and animals to be judged by their actions and not by their cultural heritage, skin tone, gender, nationality or religion / belief, I approach each being as an individual, tailoring my services to their needs and wants.

Views

  • Trans women or men are women or men, in other words, they are that by which they identify for the simple reason that all people are really the same at the core. Whether they’re good / bad or plain shitty has everything to do with their moral compass and absolutely nothing with their gender, religion, color or ethnic heritage.
  • Love who you love, without manipulation but with consent.
  • Two countries should exist side by side &
  • Those fighting should be brought together rather than torn apart in a process that stays true to their values rather than the arbitrators’ interpretation(s) of those values.
  • My loved ones & friends are everything to me, and I will die on that hill!
  • To quote one of my all time favorite sitcoms, One Day At A Time, “la familia para siempre!”
  • Family is not about blood but a connection of souls.
  • Authoritarianism sucks & suffocates healthy discussion & debate by stifling your intelligence through the inhibition of free, and therefore, critical thought.
  • Always set your default setting to understanding and love when meeting humans and animals. They’ll have plenty of time to prove themselves otherwise if they indeed are subpar human beings or members of their species.
  • Stand up for injustices because
  • All people are equal & no person is better than another, especially not if we’re putting ourselves above them (when judging).
  • Instead of polarizing, bring people together, because we have more in common with each other than we might think or realize.
