Some of the first books I remember reading were the classic French series all kids (seem to) read, Martine, and Andersen’s tales. From there things moved in all directions but while I will give anything a go, I seem to navigate naturally towards fiction and crime. My dream is to exchange our favorite poems, lyrics and stories from several countries to find those secret gems we would otherwise not hear about, so here are the books that have moved me in one way or another.
